Royal Academy of Dance

The Royal Academy of Dance offers an internationally recognised portfolio of examinations and assessments designed to encourage, motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities, outlining a progressive structure for learning and achievement in dance.

Priscilla is a registered teacher at RAD with RTS. She is eligibility to enter students for RAD exams. Priscilla is also a pilot teacher of the new repertoire-based syllabus.

Bespoken private and group classes can be arranged upon request.

Each year around 230,000 candidates from all over the world take RAD dance exams.

RAD offers a wide range of exams and assessments to motivate and reward students of all ages and abilities. The focus is on creativity and musicality, providing opportunities to progress and achieve.

GRADED EXAMS

​

  • Dance to Your Own Tune is the curriculum for children from 2½ to 5 years. 

  • The graded syllabus (Pre-Primary in Dance, Primary in Dance and Grade 1–8) provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills (age 5+).

  • Vocational graded examinations (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, Advanced 2, Solo Seal) provide an in-depth study of ballet and prepare students for a career in dance (age 11+).
